INSTALL RHYTHMER.
Connect your FM-1. Press Install. Review the backup and target; the firmware package already includes both Break loops.
One install. Two breaks ready.
Rhythmer + A / Amen + B / Think. Both loops are two bars at 160 BPM, mono 16 kHz / 12-bit. Official V15 recovery is included and verified automatically; no file search or sample-loading step is needed.
Chrome / Edge · USB data cable · final device-write confirmation required.
A / Amen — The Winstons, “Amen, Brother”.
B / Think — Lyn Collins, “Think (About It)”.
These original recordings are separate from the firmware license. Public redistribution permission has not been documented; credits do not grant it. The project owner directs distribution with credits; this is not rights-holder permission.

For a first installation, back up your music and put your FM-1 on the official V15 firmware before installing Rhythmer. Use RETURN TO V15 if you are coming from another custom firmware. A matching Rhythmer can also be updated directly after backup. V15 recovery is a firmware change and may make existing music unreadable.
Browser and native tests do not establish safe flashing, power-loss recovery or sustained operation on a real FM-1. The creator confirmed stable playback on the native Hortator audio base. Review the build notes for this maintenance revision and its exact test scope. Keep a stable USB connection and power. Do not unplug during a transfer.

Recovery is already here.
The unmodified official V15 recovery image comes from M-VAVE’s FM1 Open repository. Its Apache-2.0 resource terms and attribution documents are included. The browser checks its exact size, SHA-256 and internal package layout before enabling installation or recovery.

One FM-1. A data cable.
Use desktop Chrome or Edge on localhost or HTTPS. Connect only one FM-1, stop playback, and close DAWs, other installers and USB editors. The Install button handles connection and inspection automatically. The separate control below is available for a read-only inspection.

Keep the music first.
For supported custom firmware, read every object offered by its archive protocol and check each CRC. Keep the archive and use that firmware’s own editor to restore it. Rhythmer archives include projects, presets and settings; they do not contain Break audio. Keep your original audio files separately.
DOWNLOAD BACKUP ↓Inspect the device first.
Firmware + Amen + Think.
The integrated firmware image includes Amen (A) and the corrected two-bar Think drum edit (B). One firmware transfer installs the complete package; there is no separate sample upload. A/B factory audio is replaced during installation. The loader validates both banks before reporting success and writes only the app and fixed audio banks, preserving project/settings sectors.
Nothing has been written.
DOWNLOAD DIAGNOSTIC REPORT ↓If an update is interrupted.
An update interrupted by power loss can leave a dark screen and no USB device, requiring external hardware recovery. Reconnect with stable power and inspect again. This page can recognize the FM-1 update loader. It never resumes automatically. Reopen the same mode and use the included verified target bundle, then explicitly review the resume operation. A saved Rhythmer session must match this build’s hash; an unknown loader session is directed to official V15 recovery. If the device cannot expose a responding MIDI loader, browser recovery cannot proceed; consult the manufacturer/community recovery instructions.
Returning to V15 writes the verified official firmware and checks that the device reports FM-1_015. It does not restore custom projects into stock firmware or remove every byte of custom data from unused flash.
